Katie Price's Mucky Mansion: Welsh cleaning company helped Katie Price declutter her mucky mansion

A Welsh cleaning company were roped in to help Katie Price declutter her mucky mansion. The glamour model has been on a mission to restore her Sussex mansion to its former glory.

After turning the top floor of her mansion into a "penthouse style apartment" where she has her own lounge alongside a bedroom and makeup room, Katie turned her attention to sorting out her dressing room.

She admitted that she has more clothes than she has had hot dinners, and asked Rhondda based cleaning company Nook and Cranny to help her out. The company is owned by Debbie Mountjoy from Treorchy.

Tragically, Debbie lost her mum and two brother to coronavirus in 2020 after they all died within five days of each other. In her grief she set up the cleaning business - as her mother was a hoarder and had been for all of Debbie's life.

Appearing on the Channel 4 show, Katie Price's Mucky Mansion, Debbie tells mum of five Katie: "It is hard to let go of things but the memories are in your heart and in your head so you carry them with you wherever you go."

The 44-year-old explained that she still has clothes that she owned when she was in her 20s. Starting in the celebrity's annex which has been used as a dumping ground for years, Debbie explained that they will start with a "keep pile, a go pile and a maybe pile."

They moved onto Katie's old bedroom and Debbie explained that a mess like that becomes "overwhelming" and make it hard to start. Katie agreed she feels overwhelmed and said she thinks she has become a hoarder as she has had to work hard for everything all her life.

"It is hard for me to get rid of because I grafted hard for this and that," explained Katie. After four hours of decluttering, Katie exclaimed: "I can see the bloody floor!"

Debbie said: "I don't think we have ever got rid of that amount of stuff in the first day so well done." When asked by Katie if Debbie thinks she is a hoarder, she replies with no pause: "Yes."
