In September 2018, Katie's youngest son Jett's bedroom caught on fire after she reportedly burned 'cheap scented candles' to mask the smell of animals and save on electricity bills.

The Sun shared new images of the mother-of-five's property which revealed severe burn marks over the carpet, walls and curtains.

The new snaps also uncovered dirty piles of clothes and not a clean space of floor in sight.

"Some rooms you can't even get into because they're so messy."

Fans were shocked once again this week when Katie took to YouTube to share an updated tour of her Horsham home.

There is graffiti on the walls and no furniture as she gets the property renovated by a team of builders.

Recent reports also suggested that Katie's family were forced to live in the garden 'annexe', as builders have moved in to try and sort out the crumbling property.

Katie admitted her home in its current state was really 'mucky' as she showed off piles of clutter , filthy rooms and rotting food in her fridge.

Recent speculation has suggested Katie could be forced to sell off her mansion in a bid to help clear her debts (Youtube)

During the filmed tour of her Surrey property, she addressed claims her house is in disarray, and admitted the house is in a mess because she's in the middle of renovations.

Recent speculation has suggested Katie could be forced to sell off her mansion as well as all her beloved animals in a bid to help clear her debts.

However the businesswoman hasn't lost hope yet as she recently revealed she was planning to overhaul the mucky mansion and turn it into a luxury retreat fit for paying guests.
