Katie Price has announced she's been diagnosed with ADHD.
The former Page 3 model opened up about her recent diagnosis and explained that she's helping her mum, Amy, come to terms with understanding the condition.
It comes as her ill mum is preparing to release her memoir about her life after her daughter Katie was catapulted to fame after appearing in various lads' mags.
Katie, 45, has opened up on her condition and explained that she and her therapist are working on ways in order to make her life easier sas she doesn't want to be a "burden" on her poorly mum and family.
However, the mum of five says she "hates labels" but is relieved to have had her diagnosis.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Katie said: "I've tried to educate my mum, but my brain is wired differently to other people.
"I hate labels, but now my mum and I have both spoken to doctors and she has realised why I’ve done things in the past, why I act the way I do, why I do things, why I am the way I am."
She went on to add: "It's not because I don’t listen and take it on board, there's just something in me. I've got better now, I've learnt with therapy to hold back, to listen, and think of what other people are saying – maybe they’re right, maybe they're wrong, but I think of the consequences.
"It didn't exist in my head, a consequence, what could go wrong, so, I've learned. It’s taken me 45 years, but I'm still here."
"I can admit I have made wrong choices, I haven’t listened to certain things my mum or anyone might have said, so it has put me in situations that have been unnecessary and caused drama and stress."
But Katie says while she acknowledges her turbulent past, there is nothing she can do as she looks forward to the future.
As her mum's health struggles continue, she admits she no longer wants to be a "burden" as she focuses on what she's looking forward to.
Katie's health update comes after the star rekindled her romance with her on-off fiancé Carl Woods.
The couple were snapped in a heated embrace as he dropped her off at a nail salon after Katie's mum Amy slammed Carl, claiming he was "using" her for "fame".
"Kieran and Carl are also men who crave fame and have used Kate as a springboard for their social media feeds," said Amy.
