Katie Price left 'sore and bruised' after painful horse riding accident

Katie Price has revealed she's been left sore and bruised after falling off her horse twice.

The model, 44, took to Instagram on Monday evening to show the painful injuries she suffered in the incident. Showing a clip on her Stories of her injuries, Katie wrote: "As much as I'm a very experienced horse rider tonight I fell off twice.

"1st time horse spooked and bucked, 2nd time is when the horse refused to jump then bucked so high then ran off me and started to buckeroo, thankfully I had a body protector and hat on but feeling sore and bruised."

The mum-of-five has regularly posts pics of her horses to Instagram for her 2.6 million followers to enjoy. She has previously revealed how they help her with mental difficulties she has faced.

She wrote at the time: "Many of you already know my story and have either made judgement or set messages of kindness and support which helps me massively day to day to look back on.

"Weekly therapy helps me yes, but being with my horses and having that feeling of being outdoors on a hack in the countryside, provides me with routine and the calmness my life needs.

"It's important to find that something for you, that you not only love, but benefits your overall wellbeing - for my mum gardening helps her, for my sister it's walking and for my brother and my dad it's a round of golf....just a few ideas for you."

Earlier this month, the star admitted she is "healing from her trauma" after she released a bombshell mental health documentary.

In the eye-opening Channel 4 documentary, Katie spoke candidly about her diagnosis of PTSD and explored what drove her to total breaking point last year when she crashed her vehicle while under the influence.

Thankfully, Katie was unharmed in the accident, and no other drivers on the road were hurt, but the TV star admitted that she was full of guilt about what could have happened in the crash.

She now insists she's taking the steps needed to stop a return to the dark days, and says going back and revisiting where everything went wrong for her has also helped her in her healing process.

Katie has now reportedly told her pals that she's entirely ready to put the years of turmoil behind her.
