Katie Price jokes she might have to get her pink moped back after being banned from driving following her horror crash last September.
The former glamour model swerved jail at her sentencing in December, but was handed a two-year driving ban, after pleading guilty to drink-driving, without insurance and whilst disqualified. This was the sixth time Katie, 44, had been banned from driving after committing a string of offences in the last decade, reports the Mirror.
Speaking in her Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Trauma and Me, she said: "I can't drive a Moped can I, with five kids? When I was in Thailand, being on the Moped, I loved them. I can't want to get a pink Moped again."
The mother of five addresses whether or not she will ever drive a car again following her latest offence, as she described the crash as a "ticking timebomb" due to her battle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and depression.
In the one-off documentary that focuses on her mental health battle, Katie spoke openly of the nightmare moment she crashed her car after hitting 'rock bottom'. "At the end of the day I got in the car, I could have killed someone else, I could have killed myself," she said.
"I should be punished and in a way I want to be punished. The timebomb has been ticking and it's exploded now. Getting in the car was a terrible mistake which I'm so sorry for. I should never have done it I recognise my mental health has been shaken, the triggers are there, I need help."
Katie was sentenced to a 16 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months and 100 hours of unpaid work in community.
The I'm A Celebrity star headed to rehab clinic The Priory to seek help for depression, anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She said: "I recognise my mental health has been shaken, the triggers are there, I need help. Mental health is cruel, it's horrible when you go through stuff. There's still hurdles to get over."
Katie says she now has a therapy session every two weeks and is learning to process her emotions and trauma.
