Katie Price in talks with the BBC for a third documentary about teenage son Harvey

Katie Price is in talks with the BBC for a third documentary about her son Harvey.

The glamour model says that the 19-year-old, who has complex needs stemming from a variety of medical conditions including autism and impaired vision, has already far exceeded all her expectations.

But she says it’s hard to predict what the future holds for Harvey, who’s now in the first year at a specialist college in Cheltenham.

“They’re filming a part three, so we'll find out,” she said.

“I couldn't sit here and say, ‘Oh, I hope Harvey's like this’ - because I've done that all my life and he's done more than I ever thought.

"They’re filming a part three, so we'll find out,” she said.

Viewers first saw the pair looking at different colleges in last year's documentary Harvey and Me. The second film, What Harvey Did Next, airs on Monday and shows the teen, whose absent father is former footballer Dwight Yorke, taking his first big step towards independence.

Katie, 43, explained that it was crucial to let viewers know how he gets on in the longer term, with the course expected to last three years.

“You can't just leave it on the edge like, ‘He's at college now,’” she explained.

“If there's people out there with kids like Harvey, I think they’d be interested to see how he benefits by going to college, rather than being at home.”

The third film, not yet officially commissioned by the BBC, is likely to air in 2024.
