Katie Price hits back at critics as she takes son Harvey to a nightclub for the first time

Katie Price hit back at critics in a recent video after taking her son Harvey Price to a nightclub for the very first time, with her asserting that he had "enjoyed" the experience.

The reality TV star, 44, accompanied her eldest child, 20, to a nightclub recently - with him having never been to one before, though he's said to have "wanted to for ages."

The experience was captured by the mother-of-five and her team, who shared shared footage of Harvey's first visit to a nightclub on her YouTube channel earlier this week.

The recently-uploaded video shows Harvey - who has autism and ADHD, as well as other conditions - in the club, where he danced and filmed a crowd chanting his name.

Towards the end of the video, on their way home, Katie is heard asking her son what he thought of the experience, with him responding by saying that it was "really fantastic."

Harvey - who lives in a residential college - was also asked whether he would like to go to a nightclub again in the future, with him suggesting that he would, saying "next time".

Following his comments, Katie took the opportunity to address concern over taking her son to a nightclub, with her hitting back at critics as they travelled home together.

Looking at the camera, she said: "See guys! Anyone out there who were like 'oh Harvey shouldn't go to nightclubs this and that.' Why not? He absolutely enjoyed himself."

And further discussing the experience, she said that he had danced and "interacted with everyone" whilst in the club, with her adding that people in the venue had "loved him".

The video - which was 130,000 views - shows Harvey visiting a club for the very first time, with Katie having organised for him to have orange squash at their private table inside.

There's a model train set on a table nearby, which interests Harvey - who is seen filming the toy. Other scenes show him recording a crowd of people who are chanting his name.

He's also seen bobbing along to music, with Harvey - who loves frogs - dancing along when the song Crazy Frog begins to play. "Oh he loves this," explained his mum Katie.

Katie had written in the description of the video that she was "so proud of him" and assured that they had "proper security and swift exits for when Harvey wanted to leave."
