Katie Price fans were left in a frustrated mood after being told to show up at one location at "4.30pm sharp" yesterday (June 16) to see their idol at an event - only to be left waiting under the hot sun as she turned up late. A group of 13 excited fans waited at the venue, with some getting there 90 minutes early in 26C heat.
Former glamour model Katie, 44, was due to host a make-up-masterclass in Birmingham alongside Fern Howe-Shepherd. Once she had done that, she was due to make a second appearance in Liverpool at 8pm and then Tamworth today (June 17).
However, BirminghamLive reports Katie ended up being caught in motorway traffic and she took to Instagram to tell her followers: "So typical, all on time and guess what? On the motorway and this sign has popped up and now we're in traffic.

"So we're probably going to be late for everything today now. Great. Great. Hardly even started the journey and look at this. Oh dear, oh dear."
Katie's fans had paid £80 to see her and some told BirminghamLive that they were 'obsessed' with her. They also said that she is their 'inspiration'. But fans were left frustrated as time ticked by.
Before her Instagram post, she had shared images and videos of her in a bridal shop in West Sussex at her sister's wedding dress fittings. The wedding is set to take place this weekend.
Fans were starting to feel the effects of the heat by 5.15pm and staff at the venue brought out glasses of water for the fans as there wasn't much shade for fans and they were not allowed in the venue yet. Some fans decided to wait in the car before two fans left the venue.
One woman said: "We've got other things to do!" Another fan added that she wanted her money back from the event.
Katie's make-up artists arrived half an hour later and allowed the remaining 11 fans into the venue to begin the masterclass whilst Katie and her boyfriend Carl Woods let a dog out of the car for a wee. She eventually entered the venue at 5.50pm in bright pink fluffy slippers carrying her dog in a bag.
