Channel 4 viewers have been left wondering how Katie Price has been able to afford renovating her famous 'mucky mansion'.
The former glamour model, 43, has landed the brand-new series with Channel 4 exploring her sprawling property and the renovations she's doing to bring it back to its former glory.
Viewers have been treated to a closer look at each room in the mansion as well as the surrounding areas, but they can't quite get their heads around the fact that the 'bankrupt' star is able to splash the cash on such major renovations.
"For someone who always say she has no money, least she can afford to renovate her 'Mansion'", one viewer fumed.
"How does she get to keep her house when she’s bankrupt? #MuckyMansion," another echoed.
Another viewer complained: "I Thought #katieprice was bankrupt? How is she affording these renovations? Genuinely interested to know! #MuckyMansion."
Meanwhile, someone else raged: "How has she got money to renovate a 19 room house, i thought she was bankrupt. I cant afford to do my 2 up 2 down #MuckyMansion."
"How can Katie Price afford to renovate her #MuckyMansion when she's bankrupt," another questioned.
However, it's been reported that the mum-of-five landed quite the deal with Channel 4 when she was offered the TV gig.
Katie reportedly snapped up a whopping £45,000 paycheque for the documentary - which meant she avoided paying a penny for renovations to her famous home.
So, despite the multiple renovations that were needed to her West Sussex mansion, Katie paid nothing towards the costs.
"Katie hit the jackpot with the show - she got a £45k fee and didn't have to put any of her own money into the project," a TV insider recently told The Sun.
"The costs are being paid by the production company and she's landed a lot of freebies from companies who want the exposure of being on her show or her social media."
However, a Channel 4 spokesperson has since denied the claims.
They told Mail Online: "Production did not pay for the costs of any renovations of the house."
The Mirror has reached out to a Channel 4 spokesperson for comment on this story.
