Beauty queen Katie Price is coming to Edinburgh to deliver two expert-driven beauty and makeup masterclasses.
On May 5 2022, Katie will be coming to ‘Makeup by Lynn’ in Easter Drylaw along with the infamous celebrity makeup artist Fern Howe-Shepherd.

The duo will deliver two iconic masterclasses showing how to get the most out of your makeup bag.
The first event will take place at 6pm with the second following closely after at 8:00pm.
Tickets for the event are sold at £80 with those under the age of 14 having to be accompanied by an adult.
Those attending the event will be able to look forward to a £20 goody bag that contains makeup and beauty items from sponsors of Katie’s UK tour.
As well as this, those in attendance will have the opportunity to ask for advice from Fern and Katie and to grab a pic with both.
Katie was supposed to visit the beauty salon before the pandemic began but unfortunately the first lockdown had stopped this from happening.
She was then set to visit last year but was experiencing some personal issues that saw her overturn her car whilst driving under the influence.
But Katie has remained committed to supporting local businesses across the UK by increasing the exposure of smaller beauty entrepreneurs across the country with her masterclasses.
Fern, who will be accompanying Katie to the event, is renowned in the makeup world as an artist and often designs the makeup for celebrities on Love Island amongst many others.
On Katie coming to her salon, Lynn was beaming with excitement, she said: “I am so excited that the Pricey is coming to Edinburgh and Easter Drylaw at that, who would believe it?!
“I’ve been a big fan of Katie Price for a long time and I cannot believe she is coming to my salon. It will be so good for raising our profile and of course our customers and the local community will benefit so much from the knowledge that Katie and Fern will share.

“It is sort of third time lucky with the last two events having to be rescheduled but to be honest that has worked out perfectly for us. We were flooded shortly after opening and this forced us to close for four and a half months. So the cancellations have allowed me to get the salon ready and looking feminine and friendly with its pink design - something I know Katie will appreciate.

“There will be some fizz and food available for those in attendance as I will try to make each event as special as possible for everyone involved.

Lynn who runs the beauty and makeup salon won the best freelance makeup artist of the year in Scotland in 2018, and has appeared in the finals of multiple beauty awards since, with the business being shortlisted as a finalist for the UK hair and beauty awards.
