Katie Price breaks promise to daughter Princess by flogging wedding dress to fans

Katie Price has broken a sweet promise to her daughters by flogging the pink wedding dress that she wore to say 'I do' to Peter Andre.

The former glamour model, 45, announced she is getting rid of the infamous gown on social media last night, along with some of her ex-husband's garments.

Katie's iconic pink gown boats a seven-metre train and set Katie back £20,000 at the time of the 2005 wedding.

But she declared "I don't want it anymore" as she put it out for bids, even though previously she said she was saving all three of her wedding dresses to give to daughters Princess and Bunny.

"I still have my wedding dresses, all safely packed away," she told The Sun back in 2020.

"My dream would be to re fashion one of them for Princess or Bunny's big day. It is traditional."

Posting on her Instagram on Thursday, the mum of five tried on the gown for the final time as she announced: "See girls, isn't this what you've been waiting for? Look what I have found.

"This is my wedding dress from when I married Pete - look at the skirt! I don't want it anymore so you can head over to @kpmemorabilia."

"Not only that," Katie continued as she dropped the skirt to reveal the matching top. "I've also got the corset top that I wore - wooooo! Ready for grabs!"

Katie and Pete tied the knot in a fairytale wedding back in 2005 and welcomed two children into the world during their time together, Junior and Princess Andre.

Katie walked down the aisle shortly after divorcing Pete, marrying Alex Reid, and then gave birth to children Jett and Bunny Hayler with her third husband Kieran Hayler.

Last month, Katie started selling cards with her lipstick print on them to devoted fans who want a ‘kiss’ from the reality star in her latest money-making scheme.

Priced at £45 a pop, Katie’s lipstick print was emblazoned on a piece of white card and then signed.

It came after she was forced to deny she was earning just £150 a month from the adult-subscription site OnlyFans.

“Do you think someone who has been doing that for a career for 25 years is only going to make £150? Maybe put a couple more zeros on that and you'll be a lot closer.,” she said on the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast.

Whilst earlier this year Katie's bankruptcy hearing was postponed for a fifth time.

She was been due to attend a hearing over her £3.2m debt repayment at the Royal Courts of Justice on April 12 but was pushed back once again, to July 7 this year.

Katie previously agreed to pay £12,000 a month but her creditors claim she has not been sticking to the deal.

A considerable amount of the £3.265m is owed for mortgages secured against her “Mucky Mansion” in West Sussex.

Bankruptcy trustees will want to find out how much glamour model Katie has been paid for TV work, including a Channel 4 show in which she attempted to renovate her £2m country house.

A source explained to the Mirror in January: “The court will wish to know where every penny comes from, whether that’s from selling her old clothes on Depop or stripping out of her clothes on OnlyFans. Only then can the court make up its mind about her ability to pay.”

The former glamour model, who was worth £45m at one point in her life, was declared bankrupt in 2019.

In 2021, she was hit with a repossession order on her mansion over a £500,000 debt – meaning if it is sold, the proceeds must be used to clear what she owes.
