Katie Piper OBE is to work alongside inspiring authors whose incredible stories of bravery have yet to be heard, including a burns injury survivor and a girl who survived eye cancer.
The broadcaster and best-selling author has joined forces with her own book publishing label to give "unseen" authors the chance to speak out on a national platform.
Katie is joining forces with SPCK after inspiring millions with her own story having survived severe injuries after suffering a horrific acid attack back in 2008.
Since the attack, the 39-year-old has gone on to write over 10 books and front a string of TV shows while sharing the true extent of the injuries she sustained.
Speaking about the groundbreaking project, Katie told The Mirror: "These amazing women have had their incredible stories untold until now.
"I am absolutely honoured they've trusted me with telling their truth via the Unseen."
She went on to add: "This is a passion project which has been nearly a year in the making behind the scenes, so to finally tell people about it is just so exciting.
"My journey as an author has been such a special, cathartic one and each of my books have been such a huge part of my life and growth."
The UnSeen will see people from all walks of life share their inspiring story, with the first three authors being Sophie, a dancer who sustained burns injuries while performing, Ellie who has Downs Syndrome and Livi, who has survived eye cancer and has one eye.
The first in the series, Against All Odds, comes from Ellie who has defied the odds after being told she wouldn't talk or walk as a child.
Now, she has fronted campaigns for the likes of Gucci and Adidas and is hoping to push people to unlearn what they know about living with a disability.
Meanwhile, dancer Sophie Lee will share her story in an autobiography about sustaining her injuries.
Social media influencer Livi Deane who has gone on to "fearlessly confront beauty norms" by baring an empty eye socket after battling an extremely rare form of eye cancer as a child, will also share her story.
Katie's latest project comes just one month before she releases her very first children's book, All You Need about a "teeny mouse" on a journey to find faith and courage.
