Former Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn tugged at heartstrings playing tragic Sinead Osbourne, followed by another intense role as Becky Quentin in Hollyoaks. However, the TV favourite looked a world away from the soap drama as she chilled out at a spa.
Katie, 29, shared a smiling snap of herself on Instagram looking sensational as she relaxed at The Manor House Hotel in Alsager, Cheshire. "Blissful spa day," she wrote. Katie, from Rochdale, wowed in a green animal print bikini with her blonde tresses tied back.
The star added sunglasses on the sunny winter's day as she beamed for the camera, and the flame emojis came pouring in, including from her former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley. stu69ball commented: "Wow! Looking sensational."

Admirjakupovic92 responded: "Chill vibes!" And Katie's best friend Lee Bennett applauded as he shared the snap on his own Instagram. "Can we take a second to appreciate my best mate," he wrote with a flame.
At the recent Gaydio Pride Awards Katie dazzled in a purple waistcoat and wide legged trousers. She added delicate matching bejewelled heels to her striking look.
Katie played popular Sinead from 2013 to 2019, when the new mum character sadly passed away after battling cervical cancer. In 2019, until 2021, she joined Channel Four soap Hollyoaks in a story exploring sinophobia - anti-Chinese and anti-East Asian racism - following the coronavirus pandemic.
In 2021 she was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with pro dancer Gorka Marquez. Katie recently payed homage to the role that shot her to fame - pupil Jodie 'Scout' Allen in the Rochdale-based BBC school drama Waterloo Road.
Sharing nostalgic pictures as the show recently returned to our screens for a new run, she said: "I honestly owe so much to @waterlooroad and Ms Jodie ‘Scout’ Allen - the TV role that started my career and one that I’ll never forget.
"I grew up on this show, working alongside so many wonderful humans (on and off screen) many of which I’ve had the pleasure of working and keeping in touch with since. I filmed my first series while also studying for my a-levels and I was also lucky enough to join them on their move up to Scotland.
"To have those storylines at that age as an actor was just a dream come true and I learnt so much from the actors, directors and crew - even if they did make me ride a BMX and dye my hair a muddy brown colour and cover it in grease for my first series!"
She added: "Seeing it back on our screens after so many years is bloody wonderful - the team have done such a great job of bringing it back to life and it’s great to see lots of familiar faces."
