Katie McGlynn raised laughs by sharing her behind-the-scenes preparations for the Pride of Britain Awards. The former Coronation Street star, who played Sinead Osbourne in the soap, posted some candid snapshots as she travelled to the heart-warming ceremony in London.
The down-to-earth actress shared a picture of herself on the way to catch her train as she confessed to leaving behind a some might say vital item of clothing. "When you're running late for your train and leave tour bra behind," she captioned a clip of herself pulling back her black jacket as she shook her head.
And things continued to not run smoothly, after running late for the train, as she found her train was delayed. Katie, 29, who played Sinead in the ITV soap from 2013 to 2019, shared a picture of herself grabbing some pamper time.

The picture showed the stunning soap star and Strictly Come Dancing 2021 contestant wearing a sheet mask. "When your train's delated prep starts in the cab," she explained. Another picture showed her posing with her best friend Lee Bennett en-route to the awards in angular black sunglasses.
At the Pride of Britain Awards well-known faces from the world of TV, sport and politics gather to celebrate the bravery and selflessness of people who make the world a better place. The awards celebrate the achievements of remarkable people in one of the most emotional nights of the year.
The ceremony for Pride of Britain 2022 takes place today (Monday October 24) - and the show will air on Thursday (October 27) on ITV at 8pm. Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo will return to co-host the star-studded event at London’s Grosvenor House.
Carol, who has hosted the event for 23 years since 1999, said: "We’ll have 12 incredible winners again this year, but it's difficult for the judging panel because we have thousands of nominations and everyone on the shortlist could easily win.
"We try to reflect what’s happened in Britain in the last year, so you’ll recognise people who have been in the news, but we aim to balance that with stories nobody has heard before. It’s a magical combination."
