Katie McCabe has thanked fans for their messages of support after the Arsenal star suffered a foot injury on Wednesday evening.
The Ireland captain limped off late on in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League. McCabe was later seen wearing a protective boot and using crutches as she celebrated with her teammates after the final whistle.
There has been an outpouring of support from fans who have wished McCabe all the best on the injury front, and the Dubliner has taken to social media to give an injury update and thank fans for their kind words.

"Into the semissssss!!! this club. thanks for the kind messages… scan tomorrow. GOONERSSSSS," wrote McCabe on Twitter.
It should have been a brilliant night for McCabe who starred for Arsenal as the Gunners progressed to the semi-final of the Champions League for the first time since 2013.
The injury has taken the shine off somewhat, especially considering its close proximity to the World Cup.
Ireland manager Vera Pauw will be among those concerned by McCabe's injury and will be hoping that the 27-year-old is good to go when Ireland kick-off their World Cup campaign against Australia in less than four months.
Pauw is expected in Dublin on Friday to name her team for Ireland's upcoming International friendlies with the USA.
