Republic of Ireland captain Katie McCabe has paid tribute to Katie Taylor on social media.
The Arsenal star took to Instagram to heap praise upon Taylor. McCabe said it was 'a pleasure' to witness Taylor defend her titles against Karen Elizabeth Carabajal at Wembley Arena on Saturday evening, and hailed 'The Bray Bomber' as an 'incredible athlete.'
"A pleasure to sit ringside to watch the Irish (GOAT) in London!" begins McCabe's post.

"Unstoppable, undisputed lightweight champion of the world.

"What an incredible athlete and even better person."
Before Katie Taylor ascended to superstardom level, the 36-year-old played 11 times for Ireland in an international career that lasted from 2006 - 2009. While the two Katies never played together, Taylor did play with Irish stars Louise Quinn and Áine O'Gorman, with the trio part of Peamount's treble-winning squad in 2010.
McCabe was one of the lucky few to witness Taylor go to work on Saturday evening. Over the course of 10 rounds, the Irish woman was too fast, too clever, and ultimately too good for her Argentinian opponent.
With the win, Taylor moved to 22-0 as a professional and has now defended her lightweight crown on sixteen occasions. If 'KT' gets her way, the 17th defence of her title may well take place in Croke Park.
