Kathryn Thomas was left red faced after she suffered a blunder live on television this week.
The Operation Transformation host is no stranger to the screen, with over two decades under her belt on RTE.
So she admitted she was left mortified when her phone loudly sounded during an interview on Virgin Media’s Ireland AM this week.

During a chat with hosts Muireann O'Connell and Tommy Bowe, all three were shocked when her phone, which was tucked behind her on the sofa, suddenly went off.
The studio erupted into laughter as Tommy Bowe urged her to answer it, but Kathryn admitted, "That's my alarm".
Early morning presenter Muireann went on to poke fun at the mother of two for having an alarm set for 8.30am, and quipped: "Do the kids sleep till half eight?"
A confused Kathryn added: "I've no idea, it says what the alarm is for but I don't even know at this point."
Everyone saw the gas side of the mishap, with Tommy saying: "Aw that's so funny."
But taking to the RTE Radio 1 airwaves later on, where she is filling in for Ray D’Arcy this month, Kathryn admitted she was ‘mortified’ by the hiccup.
She opened the show saying: "I hope you are having a good one and hopefully it was a bit better than how mine started out this morning. I had a bit of a disaster, I am not going to lie.
"I was on Ireland AM early this morning to do an interview, chatting away on the couch with the lovely Muireann O'Connell and equally lovely Tommy Bowe."
"I had brought my phone out onto the set, which the floor manager asked me to put on silent, and I shouldn't have done it in fairness, it is the cardinal sin and you don't do it.
"I did have it on silent and stuffed it down behind me, stuffed behind one of the cushions on the couch.
“But in the middle of the chat my alarm starts going off. Oh my goodness, so I frantically pulled it out from behind the cushions and tried to turn it off.
"The lads were laughing their heads off and slagging me unmercifully."
Kathryn went on to reveal that the alarm was actually a reminder for her wedding anniversary.
The star, who married Padraig McLoughlin in Kilkea Castle in August 2019, said: "I hadn't set an alarm and it was only afterwards when I got back into the car after gathering myself that I figured out that I had put a reminder in my calendar that today was our wedding anniversary. Of course, I had completely forgotten but he had too, so that is okay."
“So I'm mortified.”
