Katherine Ryan has reported her neighbours for devaluing her property by constructing a balcony over her outdoor pool.
The Canadian comic, 38, was left highly unimpressed to find the house next to her London home had built a balcony overlooking her swimming pool without planning permission.
After discovering what her neighbours had done, Katherine took matters into her own hands and contacted her local council in a bid to have the structure removed.
Lifting the lid on her property woes, the Netflix star told Mail Online she couldn't sit back and do nothing because the new structure actually 'devalues' her London home.
"Due to my background in urban planning, I was able to report them," she told the publication.
"I'm not a snitch, but their prejudicing of my property actually devalues my property."
Katherine, who is a proud mum to daughter Violet, 12, from a previous relationship and 10-month-old Frederick with partner Bobby Kootstra, said she was concerned for her daughter and her teenage friends because there are builders 'leaning over the balcony'.
"I have 12-year-old girls in the swimming pool and then a bunch of builders like leaning over that balcony smoking," she told.
"I rang the council. I feel bad about it, but then I convinced myself not to. They have to take it down."
The comic regularly shares snaps of her home life on social media with her adoring fans - and they are often taken in her sprawling back garden which features the lavish outdoor pool.
Last year, the blonde beauty welcomed her second child, baby boy Frederick, who she shares with her civil partner Bobby.
Katherine and Bobby had dated as teenagers and were reunited when she filmed Who Do You Think You Are? in her hometown of Sarnia in Canada.
Talking about their reunion on The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: "During filming I went for a night out with my sister and bumped into my first love Bobby – we dated for about a year when I was fifteen and then we split.
"I haven't seen him in 20 years. I'm in an old jumper, he looked like a full blood Hemsworth brother, just hot… I hadn't seen him in 20 years.
"Of course [I recognised him] I'm the one with the whole new face, Jonathan! I really did like him at the time.
"When we were young, I was deeply in love with him. We were prom king and queen."
The duo entered into a civil partnership in 2019.
