Katherine Ryan has admitted she is "worried" about how Tasha Ghouri will cope with life outside of the Love Island villa, saying she cares too much about "public opinion".
The comedian, 38, also said she was happy to see Jacques O'Neill receive help from producers before he made the decision to quit the show.
Speaking on Tuesday's episode of her podcast, Telling Everybody Everything, Katherine said 23-year-old Tasha needs to learn how to stop caring about what the public think.
"Tasha, you can't care.
"Do you understand the level of scum who are going to reach out to you and try to hurt your feelings, or who have an opinion of you because it's fun for them?"
She said she was concerned about how Tasha reacted whenever she was in the bottom three, adding: "She has an absolute breakdown.
"She seems to care so much about public opinion and what people think. The fact that she keeps coming in the bottom, she just absolutely implodes over that."
Katherine said she understands that it hurts, but said Tasha is in the "wrong industry" if she can't handle it.
She then questioned whether anyone had warned Tasha about the amount of "nasty comments" she might receive when she leaves the villa.
She said: "She still hasn't even had access to social media or anything else, she's just in the villa, learning that the public aren't voting for her as highly as they're voting for others and she's already crying."
Katherine added: "I'm not even saying that people should be able to make nasty comments online.
"But the reality of the matter is they do and these contributors have to have the type of robust personalities to handle it when they come out."
Throughout the years, concerns have been raised about the mental health support on Love Island.
This has prompted ITV bosses to put in place more resources to help the stars cope with their new-found fame.
Katherine said: "All of the big channels, you know, they've learnt as time goes on that reality TV can potentially be quite damaging.
"So I promise you, they know from experience, they have experts on hand to talk to these kids, to pull them out probably several times a day and check in with them."
Jacques, 23, recently became the latest person to leave the villa of his own accord.
Speaking on her podcast, Katherine said: "He was really struggling and I liked it that you could tell there was some off camera chat and the health and safety team must have advised, 'yeah, you're not doing well, there's no need to stay'."
She added: "It will not have been he's just sat on his own and decides to leave, no.
"It's these very, very constant chats with the duty of care, wellness, mental health team."
Katherine also said she is glad Jacques is out of the villa and able to get any help he might need.
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
