Katherine Ryan rarely posts photos of her eldest child, but it seems she was in a nostalgic mood over the weekend.
The comedian, 38, took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to share a throwback photo of herself and her daughter Violet at her christening.
She called both herself and Violet, now 12, "babies" as her eldest was born when Katherine was in her mid-twenties.
In the snap, Katherine beamed for the camera as she stood in the church holding a baby Violet, who was wearing a sweet white christening gown.
"Babies at baby church," Katherine captioned the adorable image in her post.
She doesn't often post pictures of Violet, who she shares with an ex-boyfriend.
Earlier this year she welcomed her second child, a baby boy named Frederick, who she shares with her civil partner Bobby Kootstra.
Katherine and Bobby had dated as teenagers and were reunited when she filmed Who Do You Think You Are? in her hometown of Sarnia in Canada.
Talking about their reunion on The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: "During filming I went for a night out with my sister and bumped into my first love Bobby – we dated for about a year when I was fifteen and then we split.
"I haven't seen him in 20 years. I'm in an old jumper, he looked like a full blood Hemsworth brother, just hot… I hadn't seen him in 20 years.
"Of course [I recognised him] I'm the one with the whole new face, Jonathan! I really did like him at the time.
"When we were young, I was deeply in love with him. We were prom king and queen."
The duo entered into a civil partnership in 2019.
Katherine recently shared a photo of herself with Violet as a baby next to herself holding her newborn son Frederick.
"Little girl with my big girl June 2009. Big girl with my little boy June 2021," she captioned the snap.
"Happy Birthday, Violet - to your secret account - You are my sun & my moon & my stars.
"When I had nothing, I had you and I had everything. Fred is ok too."
She then shared another snap of herself and her children with Bobby, which was a rare image of Violet as she looks now.
Katherine poked fun at her pale skin, saying her midwife had been worried that she is anaemic, but she said it was just her Irish genes.
"Midwife: I'm worried you're anaemic," Katherine captioned the photo. "No, ma'am. Just Irish."
