Kate Middleton honoured the Queen by wearing jewellery belonging to Her Majesty for the much loved monarch's funeral on Monday.
The eyes of the world fell on London as Queen Elizabeth II's funeral took place, with huge crowds gathering in the capital to witness the huge state event as prime minister Liz Truss, former prime ministers including Boris Johnson and Tony Blair and world leaders like Us President, Joe Biden, took their seats for the service in Westminster Abbey.
Princess of Wales, Kate, walked alongside her husband Prince William and the couple's two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte as the Queen's coffin was carried into the Abbey, with youngest son Prince Louis, four, missing from the event. Kate looked striking in a large black hat and veil, the same colour as the rest of her outfit.

But it was her choice of accessories that drew the eye, with her wearing a stunning pearl choker and matching earrings, both of which belonged to the Queen.
As the service ended, UK retailer Steven Stone confirmed that it was indeed the Queen's jewellery that Kate was wearing, with the choker commissioned to be created using a collection of cultured pearls gifted to the monarch by the Japanese government. The piece was part of the Queen’s regular jewellery collection in the 1980s and 90s, and was too once worn by the late Princess Diana to a state banquet in the Netherlands
The Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings are crafted from a shell containing seven pearls, which was a wedding gift to The Queen from the ruler of Bahrain in 1947
It's not the first time Kate has worn the pearl choker. She also wore it for the funeral of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, last year.
