Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, took part in the historical Trooping the Colour event on Saturday, June 17, to mark King Charles's 74th birthday. The senior royal has travelled in the traditional carriage procession to travel from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade as part of the monarch's annual birthday celebrations since joining the royal family when she tied the knot with Prince William.
As reported by the Daily Record, royal fans were concerned for the mum-of-three back in 2019 when she was left feeling a bit under the weather following the journey where she sat alongside Queen Camilla, then the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and Meghan. Some people speculated as to why she looked a little "off-colour" and not her usual smiling and glowing self.
Reports revealed that it was in fact the carriage ride that left Kate feeling somewhat sick due to the swaying motion. The late Queen Elizabeth was also said to suffer from motion sickness, too, despite sailing in the Royal Yacht Britannia for 43 years, and had kindly recommended the pills she relied on to Kate.

A royal source said at the time: "The truth is the Duchess of Cambridge gets very seasick and doesn’t enjoy the rocking motion of carriages.
“Worrying she may be ill on such an important occasion as Trooping the Colour added to her stress." It comes as Kate was back in the carriages again for the Trooping the Colour event at the weekend, which marked the first with King Charles as monarch following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth last year.
Kate was alongside her kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The three children made their debuts in the carriages last year when Trooping kicked off the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The historical occasion on Saturday, June 17, not only marked King Charles's first birthday parade but also the first for Kate in her new military role when she became the Colonel of the Irish Guards last year - a position previously held by her husband Prince William.
She has already gone full-steam ahead this year fulfilling colonel duties, which have included taking part in the Irish Guards' well-known St Patrick's Day parade.
