Kate Middleton's touching gesture as Prince William adorably pulls faces at baby

The Prince and Princess of Wales were seen adorably pulling faces at a baby as they greeted crowds at Windsor Castle. On Saturday evening, Prince William and Kate Middleton spoke to wellwishers and looked at the floral tributes which had been left as tribute to the Queen after she sadly died on Thursday.

The couple unexpectedly reunited with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the first time in years as they put aside their differences after the passing of the brothers' grandmother - with all four shaking hands and chatting to members of the public who had been waiting patiently for hours. In one particularly cute moment, William and Kate tried to get the attention of a baby who was being held over the railings.

While speaking to the baby's mum, Kate touchingly held the young child's hand and grabbed bunches of flowers from other members of the crowd.

Prince William, who was stood nearby, then noticed the baby as well and asked what her name was.

The heir to the throne could be seen pulling faces as he tried to get the child's attention in a very sweet moment.

William then thanked the parents for coming out to pay their respects to his late grandmother.

After taking in the tributes, the brothers had a touching exchange before heading off in different directions with their respective partners.

All four then began shaking hands and chatting to members of the public who had been patiently waiting outside Windsor Castle - and had no idea Harry and Meghan would be in attendance.

Meghan shook hands with a large number of people, including a child who was on her parent's shoulders, and was handed a bunch of flowers to add to the collection.

The most heartwarming moment was when Meghan approached a young woman, who was in disbelief that she was talking to the former Suits actress.

The girl put her hand over her mouth in shock before speaking to the Duchess of Sussex, then put her arms out and asked: "Can I have a hug?"

Meghan nodded before leaning in and giving her a warm embrace to a teenager girl.

Amelka Zak, 14, branded her hug with the Duchess of Sussex "amazing" and said that she wanted to show the mum-of-two that she was "still welcome here" in the UK.

The teenager spent time chatting with Meghan before asking her if she could have a hug and to her delight, the royal agreed.

Speaking to CNN, Amelka said: "We were just waiting for her to come and she came near me and asked my name and how my day was, how long I was waiting.

"And I asked her if I could have a hug, and she hugged me back. It was quite an amazing moment. I'm still shaking now."

William got more than he asked for with one royal fan, who cheekily offered him some personal training sessions.

The royal fan was seen leaning over the barrier as she desperately tried to get the future King's attention - and got the opportunity to shake his hand.

As Wills started greeting people behind her, the woman started explaining that she was a personal trainer, to which he seemed to reply: "Oh, really!"

Revealing she only lived nearby, she continued: "I'm round the corner. Pop round anytime."

They continued chatting for a few more seconds - and at one point the personal trainer flexed her muscles, seemingly to indicate that she could get William in shape.

As the Prince walked away, the audacious woman then hilariously made a 'call me' phone gesture with her hand.

After spending 40 minutes with the public, the two couples got into the same car with William driving them away - with Kate in the front and the Sussexes in the back.
