The Princess of Wales has met with Ukraine's First Lady, ahead of the Queen's state funeral.
Kate Middleton and Olena Zelenska greeted each other at a special reception hosted by King Charles at Buckingham Palace on Sunday evening.
Downing Street had previously declined to confirm reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's wife would travel to the UK for the funeral.
They were pictured sat either side of a fireplace on gingham armchairs with purple orchids on display in the background.
Ms Zelenska had earlier visited Westminster Hall to see the Queen lying in state.
She made the journey to the UK after her husband took time out from organising his country's fightback against Russia to sign a book of condolence for the Queen.
The UK's ambassador in Kyiv, Melinda Simmons, said she was "deeply honoured" by the president's gesture.
"Grateful to the president for taking the time to do this given all else that is happening in (Ukraine) at this time," she said.
The princess's meeting with Ms Zelenska follows Liz Truss's earlier audience with the King in the Palace's 1844 Room.
World leaders, dignitaries and royalty from across the globe are flying into London to be hosted by the new monarch of Britain, before they attend Queen Elizabeth II's funeral tomorrow.
However the members of their own family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been uninvited from the reception.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are unlikely to attended after palace aides insisted the event was just for 'working royals', the Telegraph reports.
It was reported that they originally received an invitation, but it has since been rescinded.
Joe Biden, the US president and Emmanuel Macron, the French presiden are among those who have already arrived in London for the reception.
Royals in attendance will include Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, and Queen Sonja of Norway.
The event will be held on the eve of the Queen's funeral, which is set to take place on Monday the 19th of September.
The state funeral will be at Westminster Abbey and will start from 11am.
The news comes as it has been thought that Meghan and Harry's children will not be granted HRH titles.
According to the Sun, the agreement is that Archie and Lilibet can be prince and princess but not His/Her Royal Highness because they are not working royals.
The Sussexes stopped using HRH in January 2020 when they stepped down as senior royals.
