In a brand new trailer, Kate Middleton has invited viewers to join in on a 'very special' Christmas carol service that will take place on Christmas Eve.
The Princess of Wales is seen wearing a gorgeous red sequin-embroidered gown in the 19-second clip, which encourages viewers to tune in to the programme that is set to be 'full of festive carols and beautiful performances'.
The annual carol service broadcast, titled Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, was filmed on December 15 at Westminster Abbey and sees the princess joined by her family including Prince William and their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
She was also accompanied at the festive event by His Majesty King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.
In the trailer for the service, the Princess of Wales said: "Join us this Christmas Eve for a very special service at Westminster Abbey full of festive carols and beautiful performances as we celebrate what makes this the most wonderful time of year."
The trailer also shows scenes from the event including the choir singing festive hymns.
The service, which is led by the princess and supported by The Royal Foundation, will showcase the selfless efforts of communities, families and individuals across the country.
It will also celebrate the joy of bringing people together as many enjoy their first Christmas with their family following the Covid-19 pandemic.
The carol service is dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who died in September and is set to honour the late monarch and the values she carried throughout her life including duty, support and faith.
Songs that will feature in the carol service include ‘O Come, All Ye Faithful’, a festive hymn that was selected through a public poll.
The carols will be sung alongside musical performances by guests including Alexis French, Craig David and Samantha Barks, and a special Christmas duet from Alfie Boe and Melanie C.
As well as Christmas tunes, the service will see many festive readings by the likes of Prince William, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, Hugh Bonneville and Kadeena Cox.
The broadcast will also feature additional scenes including an introduction from The Princess of Wales, footage that will highlight individuals who have supported others this year, and tributes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Viewers will be able to tune into Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, a special programme narrated by Catherine Zeta Jones, at 7pm on Christmas Eve.
