A Glasgow-based sustainable womenswear brand has found itself a new fan - in the form of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
Kate Middleton was spotted eyeing up an Ellipsis dress at a Prince's Foundation event in London earlier this month, sparking interest in the brand from fashion sites across the globe.
One such site has been Canada's number one fashion and beauty magazine Fashion, who ran a piece on the dress in an article captioned 'You Can Buy This Silk Dress Before Kate Middleton Does.'
Talented young fashion designer Nicole Christie, who started Ellipsis in 2020, was in attendance at the event as a beneficiary of The Prince’s Foundation Modern Artisan project in Scotland.

In what she called " the most surreal and incredible experience", Nicole presented Ellipsis to Kate alongside Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, and gifted both Kate and Camilla with a handmade Ellipsis piece - a silk bag.
However it was the sight of Kate interacting with one of the handmade Ellipsis dresses that set tongues wagging, with plenty taking to social media to comment that the Duchess of Cambridge would look 'perfect' in it.
The comments in awe of Nicole's dresses poured in after Daily Mail London Royal editor Rebecca English tweeted that Kate "totally had her eye" on one of the Ellipsis garments at the event.
She tweeted: "I met the lovely Nicole Christie, a graduate of Charles’ The Modern Artisan project The Prince's Foundation. She’s now started her own business Ellipsis making beautiful silk clothes and headwear.
"She gifted Camilla and Kate bags - and Kate totally had her eye on this dress!"
Kate's approval has sparked increased interest and demand in the brand, with Ellipsis confirming that they are now shipping across America, Europe and Australia, with pre-orders also being taken for the silk bags gifted to Kate and Camilla.
