Kate Middleton bows in 'respect' to Queen Consort Camilla as Meghan shows 'confidence' - expert

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have both appeared at public events this week, paying tribute to Her Majesty. The pair shocked well-wishers when they reunited outside Windsor Castle, with brothers Prince William and Harry.

The 'Fab Four' spent 45-minutes chatting to well-wishers and admiring tributes - and all eyes were on the group, who had not seen publicly together since the thanksgiving service at the Platinum Jubilee.

Millions of people have tuned in around the world to watch King Charles take on his new role, with Camilla, the Queen's consort by his side - as well as his dutiful sons.

Now body language expert Adrianne Carter, also known as the Face Whisperer, has shared some analysis on Kate and Meghan's relationship with their mother-in-law.

She told the Daily Star : "Kate dips her chin in respect and keeps her head bowed a lot in the clips we saw of her and Meghan holds her chin level which is a sign of confidence.

"Chin raised can look arrogant and chin dipped is lowering yourself but chin straight on is a sign of confidence.”

Adrianne had previously analysed King Charles' accession council ceremony – and highlighted a few moments of apparent "tension”.

The Royal was seen looking agitated when he prompted staff to remove a pen from the desk in front of him.

"It was a moment showing the King's tension on the solemn occasion," she said.

"The first brushing away didn’t get him what he wanted so he repeated the gesture in a more frustrated manner each time until the desk was cleared.

"When we are tense or feel the weight of an occasion, frustration behaviours can leak through, as they did on this occasion."

And at his first address to the nation last week, he apparently looked "uncomfortable" when paying tribute to Harry and his wife Meghan and their new life in California.

The new King said: "I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas."

Carter added: "[It was] slightly uncomfortable for him, as shown by the slightly longer blink."

But, she continued, "[he] delivered strongly and [placed] them firmly abroad," creating distance between the royal family here in the UK and the Sussexes overseas."
