The Princess of Wales and her sister-in-law Meghan Markle were united in grief as they walked behind the Queen's coffin at her state funeral.
The two royal women joined their husbands, King Charles and Queen Camilla to walk in a short procession into Westminster Abbey. Both looked emotional as they walked slowly into the hall, which is packed out with 2,000 well-wishers.
Both were dressed all in black and wore hats, in keeping with royal tradition. Kate wore a necklace which belonged to her husband's grandmother, which she last wore for the Queen and Prince Philip's 70th wedding anniversary celebrations.
It's the first time Meghan has attended a royal or state funeral, after missing Prince Philip's send off in 2021 as she was pregnant with second child, Lilibet.

Meghan and Harry were in Europe when the Queen passed away carrying out a number of engagements, with Harry rushing to join his family in Balmoral.
The couple joined Kate and William for a surprise walkabout in Windsor last Saturday after a last minute invitation from the Prince of Wales, which sources say was to show a "unity in grief".
It was the first time the formally dubbed 'Fab Four' have been seen together since the Commonwealth Day service in 2020, the Sussexes' final royal engagement before quitting the UK.
They drove to the Long Walk in Windsor in one car before stepping out to meet well-wishers and view floral tributes. They stayed for about 40 minutes before heading home.
Meghan has previously spoken warmly of her relationship with the Queen, saying her husband's grandmother was always lovely to her.
During their engagement interview, she revealed she had met the monarch a couple of times.
Recalling the first meeting, she said: "It's incredible, I think, you know, a) to be able to meet her through his lens, not just with his honour and respect for her as the monarch, but the love that he has for her as his grandmother, all of those layers have been so important for me so that when I met her I had such a deep understanding and of course incredible respect for being able to have that time with her. And we've had a really, she's, she's an incredible woman."
Harry also added that the Queen's beloved corgis took to Meghan straight away. He said: "I've spent the last 33 years being barked at; this one walks in, absolutely nothing."
William referenced his wife's relationship with the Queen in his moving tributes in the days following her passing.
He said: "I have had the benefit of The Queen’s wisdom and reassurance into my fifth decade. My wife has had twenty years of her guidance and support. My three children have got to spend holidays with her and create memories that will last their whole lives."
