Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway feels people are "fed up" hearing about her and her husband's health struggles.
She and Ben Shephard spoke at length of the importance of being there for people who feel lonely or isolated around the Christmas holidays. The discussion was a part of their 1 Million Minutes campaign aiming to ensure no one feels alone around the holiday season.
Ben said the people reaching out for support are often those who don't admit it and carers specifically. He highlighted Kate was also in dire need of a helping hand during the darker times of her husband Derek's health battle.

Derek was admitted to the hospital with Covid-19 in March 2020, and a year later he returned home where he has been receiving intensive care ever since. During the peak of their struggles, Ben kindly visited Kate's house to help with mundane chores to ease her mind and focus on what's most important.
Ben said: "The thing with Kate is she's so incredible about how she's juggling all these balls. My instinct is to go over and start tidying up all the rubbish she has knocking around the house so people want the help but then sometimes others need to allow themselves to be helped."
The conversation occurred during Lorraine's morning chat show where she herself asked Kate how Derek is now doing. Kate said: "It's a long onslaught and I can see he has better days and worse days. He's thankfully at home now. It's been a long battle to get him back home again.
"It's very tough on him and the people around him including Ben and all his unbelievable [help]. I can't help but think that you Lorraine, GMB, and all the people around me must be fed up to the back teeth and that's the problem if you are caring or have a long-term situation."
Ben added that Kate feels like this given her situation which only highlights the importance of the campaign. Kate added: "You only really know what it feels like when you're there and I can now get comfort every day which makes me feel less isolated."
