Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has revealed why she missed the eighth anniversary of the hit TV breakfast show. The host updated her 1.1 million Instagram followers, telling them that she had to deal with some "urgents" at home.
Kate usually co-hosts Friday's GMB alongside Ben Shephard but colleague Charlotte Hawkins stepped in instead on Friday, April 30, after she was nowhere to be seen during the latest broadcast. Ahead of the airing of her pre-recorded Saturday morning series Garraway's Good Stuff, the star explained why she missed her regular show, as reported by The Daily Record.
Kate wrote: "So apologies for my absence from @gmb this last week - had to deal with some 'urgents' at home. But before that managed to get a whole hour dollop of #garrawaysgoodstuff in the bag for you.
