Kate Garraway made an epic blunder on live TV today as she 'revealed' the identity of one of the remaining Masked Singer stars.
The much loved presenter was at the helm of Good Morning Britain today with Ben Shepherd when they crossed over to find out who Lorraine had as guests on her show for the next hour on ITV.
With The Masked Singer final just a few days away now, Lorraine revealed she would be joined by the ITV guessing game's presenter Joel Dommett, as she teased: "There might be somebody you recognise from Masked Singer on as well."
"I know … I’m excited!" Kate then said excitedly, as Ben looked at her and added: "You know."
Kate quickly realised what it sounded like she had meant and she immediately backtracked, adding: "Yeah, uh, I don’t know. I think I might know but I’m not meant. Oh my god, I don’t know what I’m meant to know or not no! Lorraine! I’m so confused!"
"Don’t save her Lorraine, there’s no saving her!" Ben quipped as he jumped into the conversation.
It has now led to fans suspecting it must be Charlotte Church behind the Mushroom costume, as they claim Kate must be aware she is behind the mask because she has interviewed her for ITV series, Life Stories.
During his appearance on Lorraine, Joel almost gave away the winner of the ITV show as he admitted he was "very happy" with the celeb who eventually went on to win the show - out of Panda, Robobunny and Mushroom.
"I was very, very happy with the outcome. It’s such a special final. I think it’s just all out madness, silliness, great guest judge. I think the three finalists are the three that deserved to be in the final this year. I think they’re very very good," he said.
"One person in particular - I’m not going to give it away - but, I lose my mind. I lose my mind. It comes out of nowhere."
He added: "Everybody on the whole production loves being a part of it. It’s infectious. How weird is TV now? It’s so odd. I love it, just guessing who’s in that thing."
