Kate Garraway made a subtle dig at Prince Harry on Friday's Good Morning Britain following his appearance at a virtual event for his start-up BetterUp.
The mother-of-two was hosting the ITV breakfast show alongside Ben Shephard when they invited Richard Arnold on to discuss the latest showbiz news.
As they spoke about the recent BAFTA nominations, Richard mentioned that actress Olivia Colman didn't receive one for her role in The Lost Daughter and critics claimed it's because she is "too talented".
Ben, 47, then suggested: "Do they need to create another level of awards for..." as Richard added: "The Olivia Coleman award!"
Ben then asked: "Who else would go in there?" as Kate replied: "Dame Judi [Dench]!"
She then couldn't resist slipping in a dig at Prince Harry, as she continued: "Well there's another excuse - from Prince Harry this morning we've got 'we're too busy on our inner work to do the outer work', and we're too talented for awards, Richard!"
Richard quipped: "I've had no inner work for quite some time!"
Kate was referring to the comments Prince Harry made at a virtual conference alongside Serena Williams, BetterUp CEO Alexi Robichaux and his wife Meghan Markle to discuss the demands of the current job industry.
Harry explained he had suffered "burn out" before and emphasised the importance of "taking time for inner work".
The father-of-two has been more than vocal about his views on working life after stepping back from his role as a senior royal.
When speaking about the exodus of people resigning from their jobs amid the pandemic, Prince Harry said: "I’ve actually discovered recently, courtesy of a chat with [BetterUp science board member] Adam Grant, that a lot of the job resignations you mention aren’t all bad.
"In fact, it is a sign that with self-awareness comes the need for change. Many people around the world have been stuck in jobs that didn’t bring them joy, and now they’re putting their mental health and happiness first. This is something to be celebrated," he added.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV Hub.
