Kate Ferdinand has opened up about a recent trip to A&E with her four-year-old son Cree, describing him as “very injury prone” after another painful mishap.
Appearing on Lorraine on Wednesday, the former TOWIE star, 33, spoke to stand-in host Christine Lampard about the chaos of family life — and Cree’s growing collection of bumps and bruises, just four months after he broke his collarbone.
“If you’ve got a lot of children, he’s that one,” Kate laughed.
“He broke his collarbone at the end of last year, and I was actually in A&E last Sunday, as he split his ear open.
“He’s just that kid. But he’s very brave, so we are proud of him.”
Kate shares Cree and baby daughter Shae — who was born in July 2023 — with husband Rio Ferdinand, 46.

The couple began dating in 2016 and tied the knot in 2019.
Kate is also step mum to Rio’s three older children — Lorenz, 18, Tate, 16, and Tia, 13 — from his marriage to his late wife Rebecca Ellison, who sadly died of breast cancer in 2015.
The former ITVBe star has previously spoken openly about navigating life as part of a blended family.
She also used her Lorraine appearance to discuss the return of her podcast Blended, which explores family dynamics and parenting from different perspectives, now with two new co-hosts.
Her TV appearance comes amid reports the pair are considering a major relocation to the Middle East.
The couple who currently live in London with their family, have allegedly been exploring properties and schools for their children in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain.
A source told The Sun: “Rio and Kate are seriously considering being based out in the Gulf and are looking for a sprawling home with plenty of bedrooms.

“They love the lifestyle and sunny weather and have lots of friends out there. It’s a very safe place for families and offers a healthy lifestyle, which suits them well.”
The region already holds special meaning for the couple.
They first met in Dubai in 2016 through mutual friends, and Rio popped the question in Abu Dhabi two years later. They married in 2019.
With their growing family and close connections to the area, they are said to be drawn to the Gulf’s warm climate and family-friendly living as they consider the next chapter.
The source said: “It holds a special place in their hearts as that’s where they met and both could easily travel back and forth for their work commitments in the UK.
“As well as his sporting success Rio has a huge business portfolio now and there is lots of potential in the Middle East.”
