Kate bought Princess Charlotte a Disney tiara but she 'prefers the real deal'

When most of us think about what it must be like to grow up as a princess, we think of gorgeous dresses, castles and tiaras - to name a few.

But, while the reality of being a princess might be slightly different to how it's portrayed in a Disney film, that doesn't stop some of the youngest members of the royal family from wanting it to be exactly that.

Princess Charlotte, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is only six years old, but she's fast becoming a firm favourite among royal fans, thanks to her sassy personality and love of style.

The young royal is becoming more and more like mum Kate as time goes by, and its claimed she regularly likes to root through her stylish accessories.

As well as apparently being "obsessed" with sunglasses, the princess is also said to have quite a taste for tiaras - and to be honest, we wouldn't expect anything less.

According to Life & Style, Charlotte is "very expensive taste" and is so desperate to have a tiara of her own that Kate bought her a Disney princess to keep her happy, but "she prefers the real deal and made Kate promise to give it to her in the future."

The six-year-old, who is said to have been described as the Queen's "mini me," with her Majesty telling insiders she's "confident that her great-granddaughter will grow up to be a great leader and role model."

With other insiders previously claiming Charlotte "oozes confidence" and "adores the spotlight" there's every chance she'll relish becoming a senior figure in the royal family once she's older.
