Kate Beckinsale’s ex-boyfriend Matt Rife tells Pete Davidson to 'RUN'

Kate Beckinsale’s ex-boyfriend has told her new man Pete Davidson to “run”.

Stand-up comedian Matt Rife dated the actress for a year in 2017 when he was 21 and she was 43.

Rife said there is “not a chance” he would take her back and warned fellow comic Davidson to “be careful”.

“Advice for Pete? Man to man? Run,” he told TMZ. “Enjoy it while you can. I hope they’re both happy and it can build to an established good relationship. I don’t really have any solid advice – just be careful.”

Opening up about his short-lived relationship with Beckinsale, Rife said: “We dated for a year and it was complicated for sure. A lot of ups and downs but she’s moved on and I’m happy. I’m hoping they’re both getting out of it what they want.”

Asked if he would take her back if she asked, he replied: “No, absolutely not. Not a chance.”

Beckinsale and Davidson confirmed their romance earlier this week after sharing a kiss at a hockey game at Madison Square Garden in New York.

It cleared up months of rumours after they were first spotted “leaving together” after a Golden Globes after party in January.

Beckinsale appeared to shut down all talk of a romance with the Saturday Night Live star after she posted a snap of her model mother Judy on Instagram, to which one fan commented: “Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson.”

Davidson was briefly engaged to Ariana Grande last year. Beckinsale was married to director Len Wiseman from 2004 to 2016 and shares a daughter, Lily, with actor Michael Sheen.
