Kate Beckinsale has opened up about her romance with Pete Davidson - and confirmed the pair are getting serious.
The actress said dating Pete certainly comes with baggage as his every move is documented by fans and the media alike.
But this has not put off 45-year-old Kate from getting serious with the Saturday Night Live comedian.
Pete's ex, singer Ariana Grande, recently hinted that she still has love for him.
And British Kate said she is "surprised" by the amount of interest in their fledgling romance.
Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Kate said: "I’ve never been in this position before, never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief.
"It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to."

Kate met Pete when he was recovering from a broken engagement with Ariana and then involved in a suicide scare, which saw him quit social media after posting a worrying message.
Their budding romance has seen a turnaround in Pete's outlook on life and it looks like the couple are going from strength to strength, despite a backlash over their 20-year age gap.

Confirming she is getting more serious about Pete, Kate said: "I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it.
"If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not."
But while the media glare does not bother Kate, she says she does wish they could conduct their lives in a little more privacy than they are currently afforded.

Kate continued: "I’d rather not have people hiding outside my house. It’s a little old-fashioned to have a woman’s personal life [looked at like that].
"It’s a little bit tired."
Speaking to The Post, friends of Pete have said the relationship is 'the real deal' and that "they are really into each other...but they can’t go anywhere without getting spotted".
