A body language expert claims that the Prince and Princess of Wales' "genuine enthusiasm" has been passed down to their kids after the entire family were seen taking part in a round of archery.
Prince William and Princess Kate took part in the Big Help out along with their three children George, Charlotte and Louis as a part of the Coronation celebrations on the bank holiday Monday where they attended the 3rd Upton Scouts Hut in Slough.
The couple's sporty and competitive nature was visible during their fun-filled family day out as the kids tried their hand at archery after helping to renovate the hut, the Express reports.
The three young royals were seen mirroring their parent's behaviour in a demonstration of their "team structure best", according to Judi James.
The body language expert said: "There was no sense that George, Charlotte and Louis had been nudged along with warnings to be well behaved.
"The signs are that as soon as the family spot a sporting or activity challenge or an opportunity to get stuck in and compete in public they throw themselves into it with genuine enthusiasm.
"Their family team-bonding appears to have an even spread when it comes to enthusiasm and enjoyment. Kate will always compete as much as William and their role-modelling means their children will copy that very equal sense of enthusiasm.
"Even Louis set about filling a wheelbarrow with total, rapt enthusiasm, suggesting he throws himself into tasks at home in the same way."
The children's behaviour was also similar to their parents in the sense that they showed real interest in the activity and watched to see who would win.
Ms James added: "Kate took her archery seriously and therefore, so did Charlotte and while his mother eyed up the target we can see George with his hands in his pockets, mirroring his dad’s splayed elbow pose as he watched to see who would be the winner."
Judi claims that Kate is able to interact with her kids at their level and make them feel "confident" in their own abilities as she explains: "Kate also shows her skill to create confidence in her children when they do compete or join in play.
"With Louis toasting mallows at the fire she dipped down to his height to join in like another child to allow him to feel motivated but not overly parented."
With the Middletons as his in-laws, William is able to enjoy the comforts of their happy family life which is something he sadly did not get to experience himself as a young boy.
According to royal commentator Rachel Andrews who spoke to OK! magazine, William has a close bond with Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton and has a lot of respect for the way they raised his wife and her two siblings.
She also claimed that their "down-to-earth" parenting style with Kate, James and Pippa influenced William's own behaviour as a father.
Ms Andrews said: "We’ve seen over the past few years that he gets on really well with them.
"He admires the way that Carole and Michael brought up Catherine, Pippa and James [Kate’s siblings] and that seems to be reflected in the way William is a down-to-earth father now."
