Former Leeds United goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel believes the Whites need a manager with a 'clear style' if they are to swing the axe on Javi Gracia in a last-ditch attempt to save their Premier League status.
Sunday's bruising 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth was the last in a line of heavy defeats for Leeds, who now sit 17th in the Premier League table, with only goal difference keeping them ahead of the drop zone.
Reports suggest that Leeds are ready to parachute veteran boss Sam Allardyce into the Elland Road dugout in one final roll of the dice with just four games of the Premier League campaign left.

Speaking after Leicester's 1-1 draw with Everton that saw the Foxes move ahead of Leeds in the Premier League table, Schmeichel reacted to the news that Leeds could be about to dispose of Gracia after just ten weeks.
"The best thing that they can have is someone that comes in with a clear style - a clear identity of what he wants to do and how he wants them to play," he said. "No, there’s not time [to implement that], but if they’re considering it.
"I think nothing else is really going to work. They’ve tried many different things now but defensively they’re leaking goals everywhere, they aren’t scoring goals either. Tactically it’s not working so they need to figure something out very, very fast in terms of how they’re going to play, how they’re going to stop all of the goals that they’re conceding and how they’re going to score.
"You can have people shouting and screaming in the dressing room all you want but players need to be instructed on where they need to be these days. You’ve got to be tactically astute because you’re coming up against other teams that are tactically very well organised, so you need to have a way of breaking them down."
Should Allardyce land the Leeds job, his first game would be a daunting trip to treble-chasing Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.
