Bengaluru: A social media post by Bhartiya Janata Party MP Lahar Singh Siroya has once again made tremors in Karnataka political circles.
First, DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s controversial remarks on 'Sanatan Dharma' shook up the country’s political environment. Soon after, the statement by Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge, son of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, supporting Udhayanidhi, added fuel to the fire.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s son, @PriyankKharge, who is a minister in Karnataka government, is expressing his views on everything from ‘Sanatana Dharma’ to ‘Bharat’. Should we take his views as the official view of the party? 1/2@INCIndia @kharge @BJP4India #Bharat

Siroya has made a scathing attack on Congress, through social media platform 'X', regarding Priyank Kharge’s statement supporting Udhayanidhi. He has asked the Congress leadership to clarify the Party’s stand on Priyank's utterance. Siroya further asked whether Priyank’s statement is the official stand of the Congress.
The BJP MP wrote in his post, ' Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s son, Priyank Kharge, who is a minister in Karnataka government, is expressing his views on everything from ‘Sanatana Dharma’ to ‘Bharat’. Should we take his views as the official view of the party?’
People in Karnataka are talking about Priyank Kharge. Why is he in such a great hurry? Is it that he is targeting something else but his eyes are somewhere else? Maybe he is nurturing the ambitions of becoming the CM of Karnataka after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
