Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot paid a visit to the Tungabhadra reservoir at Munirabad in Koppal district on Monday evening.
Mr. Gehlot who arrived in Vijayanagara district for participating in different programmes was welcomed by Deputy Commissioner Anirudh Sravan, Superintendent of Police K. Arun, and other senior officers at the district border.
Later, Mr. Gehlot visited the reservoir and the garden in the evening. He walked on the reservoir getting information from the officials of Water Resources Department.
Mr. Gehlot is scheduled to participate in the convocation of Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari, and Nudi Habba of Kannada University, Hampi.
