Karlie Kloss welcomes second child with husband Joshua Kushner

Karlie Kloss has welcomed her second child, a son, with husband Joshua Kushner.

The supermodel’s other half announced the joyous news on his Instagram account on Thursday, posting a photo of the newborn sleeping in a knitted blue hat.

The 38-year-old businessman simply captioned the photo: “Welcome to [the world] 7.11.23.”

After sharing the post, the pair were inundated with congratulations from fellow stars such as Kim Kardashian, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and even Mark Zuckerberg who shared several heart-emojis.

Kloss and Kushner are already parents to son, Levi Joseph, who was born in 2021.

In May, Kloss, 30, announced her pregnancy at the Met Gala, where she revealed her growing bump in a figure-hugging Loewe black dress.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the time, she shared: “This is the most important night in fashion, of course, and I’m honestly surprised I could keep it a secret this long.”

The runway star then joked to US Vogue on the red carpet: “I’ve got a plus one, shhh… don’t tell anybody.”

The couple, who first started dating in 2012, married in 2018 and held a second wedding in July 2019.

Kloss previously told Porter magazine that while she never wants to be “secretive” about her private life, she was keen not to reveal too many details.

She shared: “I’m not trying to hide that from the world; I just really like having a more private, private life… I’ve got nothing to hide though.”

Last year, the American star got candid about motherhood and the “profound experience” of having a child.

Speaking on the Today Show, she said: “I just had this moment of like, ‘Wow, every woman who has a child, every parent goes through this.’ It’s just the most profound experience that I had no idea until having a kid.

“Priorities change. Everything changes. I think the last few years have changed us as well. I have become, first of all, so much more efficient with my time. I’m actually on time everywhere now.”
