Karim Benzema 's season just keeps getting better as the Real Madrid legend has now become the all-time top French goalscorer, surpassing Thierry Henry 's record.
The Frenchman scored twice late on to add to Vinicius Junior's second-half strike and hand Madrid a 3-0 win away to Real Mallorca in La Liga on Monday.
Henry's long-lasting record of 411 goals has now been surpassed by Benzema, who now sits on 413 after his double against Mallorca, extending Madrid's lead at the top of La Liga to 10 points.
And at the rate Benzema is going, he could add many more to his record-breaking tally.
Benzema may be 34-years-old, but the Frenchman has rather fittingly aged like a fine wine, producing his best ever attacking return for Madrid across any of his 13 seasons, and it's only March.
The Madrid hitman is spearheading their success this season after scoring a hat-trick last week to knock Paris Saint Germain out of the Champions League, single-handedly overturning a two-goal deficit.
Benzema has now scored 22 goals and assisted on 11 occasions this season, surpassing his best total attacking return of 32 in a Madrid shirt, and there are still ten games to play in La Liga.
They are also expected to mount a serious Champions League bid, as their display against PSG was a statement to the rest of the competition that they are still very much a threat in Europe.
Benzema's record is even more impressive as he had a five-and-a-half year absence from the French national team due to implications off the field, and the Madrid star missed two major tournaments, as well as multiple qualifying games.
Therefore, it's even more impressive that he's managed to surpass Henry's record of 411 at the age of 34, and it begs the question as to just how many he would've scored if he hadn't been omitted from the French national team.
Benzema moved to Madrid back in 2009 after leaving French side Lyon for £30million, and he has been in the Spanish capital ever since, winning three La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies.
It looks as though Benzema is nailed on for a fourth La Liga title this season, and should Madrid cause an upset in the Champions League this year, the Frenchman will join Cristiano Ronaldo as the only player to win the tournament five times.
Only Francisco Gento has won more European cups, but since it was reformed as the Champions League only Ronaldo is at the top with five honours, but his former Madrid team-mate could climb up onto the podium with him.
Benzema also added international silverware to his impressive trophy cabinet as he helped France win the Nations League, and they could've used him in 2016 when they lost the European Championship final to Portugal.
The Frenchman is proof that age is only a number, and Benzema looks as accomplished as ever at the Santiago Bernabeu.
