'Karen's Diner' style event with rude staff and bottomless cocktails and gin coming to city centre

A new bottomless brunch event styled on the popular Karen's Diner chain is coming to Liverpool's city centre.

Brutal Brunch offers the ever popular bottomless brunch experience but with a twist - staff will be rude and any complaints will be promptly ignored. It's inspired by the famed Australian chain, Karen's Diner, where guests are given a deliberately unpleasant experience, with staff insulting customers and being continually rude throughout the duration of their meal.

Brutal Brunch aims to offer a similar experience, with a new event coming to Sensation on Seel Street on Sunday, December 11. Tickets start from £10 and go up to £50.

Ryan George, director of Brutal Brunch, commented: "Anti-hospitality is something that has become a viral trend but hasn't really been done quite in this way before. This is a very new and unorthodox brunch.

"We are very much different from your stereotypical bottomless brunch, most of which offer standard bottomless Prosecco, [but] with Brutal Brunch, all our drinks are bottomless. [This includes] vodka, Malibu, gin and even cocktails - all the favourites of a classic 'Karen'.

"At Brutal Brunch, we pride ourselves on quality drinks and fun entertainment and most definitely the worst service customers will ever receive. With rude staff and hosts who in return are expecting customers to give it right back to us. A place where you can complain until the cows come home because we literally don't care - it is an experience that people certainly won't forget in a hurry."

You can book tickets for Brutal Brunch's XXXMas Special by clicking here. It's taking place at Sensation, 13-21 Seel Street, Liverpool, L1 4AU.
