Karen's Diner on tour coming to city centre with rude staff and 'bottomless booze'

The ever popular Karen's Diner chain is coming to Liverpool's city centre, as part of a nationwide tour.

The smash hit bottomless brunch experience offers diners quite the twist - staff will be rude and any complaints will be promptly ignored. The famed Australian chain gained worldwide attention after guests were consistently given a deliberately unpleasant experience, with staff insulting customers and being continually rude throughout the duration of their meal.

The new event, coming to Sensation on Seel Street, is in partnership with Brutal Brunch. It will take place from January 27 until January 29, 2023, with tickets priced from £40. You can book here.

Tickets include a burger and bottomless prosecco or select spirits and mixers, as well as select soft drinks drinks, for 90 minutes. The event aims to offer guests a unique dining experience, complete with "rude waiters" who are expecting "you to give it full Karen."

Ryan George, director of Brutal Brunch, commented: "Anti-hospitality is something that has become a viral trend but hasn't really been done quite in this way before. This is a very new and unorthodox brunch."

George added: "At Brutal Brunch, we pride ourselves on quality drinks and fun entertainment and most definitely the worst service customers will ever receive. With rude staff and hosts who in return are expecting customers to give it right back to us. A place where you can complain until the cows come home because we literally don't care - it is an experience that people certainly won't forget in a hurry."

Ryan Blackburn, managing director of Karen's On Tour, said: "Once you're in a Karen's, you'll not be thinking about strikes, Brexit or electricity costs, you'll just be wanting to survive. Customers would need to expect plenty of sass, great food, and a sprinkle of bad attitude.

"Don't expect special treatment as it's all about Karen, and she won't be taking any nonsense. All will be able to have fun and wind the staff up to unleash their inner Karen and see their full Karen potential."

The Karen's Diner tour will hit a range of UK cities, with its Liverpool events taking place at Sensation. Booking is advised. Sensation is based at 13-21 Seel Street, Liverpool, L1 4AU.
