Kareena Kapoor breaks silence on Saif Ali Khan's attack: Read full statement

Mumbai: Speaking for the first time on her husband and actor Saif Ali Khan's attack, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan called it a challenging day and urged the media and paparazzi to refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage of the attack. 

Kareena shares post on Instagram 
Kareena Kapoor took to Instagram and thanked everyone for showing their support during this difficult time.  

"It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage," she wrote on Instagram.

"While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this sensitive time, she added. 

Saif stabbed by intruder 

Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder with knife. Saif was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital with stab injuries. He has been operated upon and now he is out of danger, according to the hospital.

Kareena's team issues statement 
Earlier in the day, Kareena's team issues a statement over the knife attack. In the statement, her team said that Kareena and the children are fine. 

Saif Ali Khan's team has also issued a statement stating that the actor is out of danger and is currently recovering.
