Free-agent running back Kareem Hunt visited the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday and while an offer was made, the two sides could not agree on a contract. Hunt wound up leaving the visit without a deal in place.
The Colts are dealing with some major running back issues. Between Jonathan Taylor’s ankle injury and contract dispute, along with other injuries to Zack Moss and Deon Jackson, the room is incredibly thin.
An offer reportedly was made from the Colts but ultimately there was no agreement in place.
Free agent RB Kareem Hunt is leaving Indianapolis without a deal, per source. Colts made an offer, but the two sides were unable to reach an agreement as there still is “continued interest from other teams.”

Hunt was receiving interest from other teams before the Colts called for a visit, including the New Orleans Saints. It isn’t clear if there will be another opportunity for the Colts to sign Hunt or whether their interest will be the same if that time comes.
The former NFL rushing leader will continue his search for a new team while the Colts will continue to move through training camp and the preseason with a pretty thin running back room.
