Kanye West and Tristan Thompson stunned onlookers when they were spotted meeting up for dinner in Miami.
The duo were seen laughing and joking as they enjoyed the cosy get-together at the Ocean Grill beachside restaurant in exclusive Setai hotel in Miami on Tuesday, along with friends and two mystery women.
Tristan, who shares daughter True Thompson with ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, joined Kanye for a late dinner, which didn’t start until around 11pm.
The Gold Digger rapper, who was dressed head to toe in black, met up with Tristan, 30, hours before he was dealt a blow in his divorce battle with ex Kim Kardasiahn, as the SKIMS founder was declared legally single by a judge.
Tristan and Kanye stayed for an hour and a half, according to onlookers, and seemed to be enjoying each other’s company.
A clip posted by The Shade Room on Twitter shows the men laughing and joking, with Kanye, 44, smiling widely while Tristan was chatting to him.
A source told E! News that they were “eating, drinking and sharing stories”, and hugged before going their separate ways.
It’s not known if Kanye’s new girlfriend Chaney Jones joined the rapper and basketball star Tristan for the night out, which has raised eyebrows among Kardashian fans.
“Kanye linking with Tristan is comedy,” one tweeted.
“Kanye and Tristan??? Kris Jenner plotting as we speak,” another joked.
“Kanye hanging out with Tristan is the funniest thing ever,” one added.
Tristan was in Florida for the Chicago Bulls match against Miami Heat on Monday, and seemingly extended his trip to meet up with Kanye, who has officially changed his name to Ye.
The rapper previously called out Tristan, who split from Khloe last year, for being involved in the alleged plan to keep Kanye away from his daughter Chicago’s birthday party.
He took to social media to claim estranged wife Kim worked with her family to prevent Kanye from attending the bash, which was a joint celebration with Kylie Jenner ’s daughter Stormi.
“I’ve called Kim, texted the nannies, I got on the phone with Tristan, he said he’d ask Khloe, won’t nobody give me the address to my daughter’s birthday party right now, and that’s going to imprint in her mind that I wasn’t there for her,” Kanye said in a bitter rant.
The Stronger rapper, who shares four children with Kim - North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2 - is currently involved in a bitter court battle as he tries to stall divorce proceedings.
