The artist formally known as Kanye West is trying his hand at helping to tackle the homeless crisis in Los Angeles.
The rapper - who changed his name to Ye by deed poll last year - apparently wants to give those living on the streets some experiencing modelling clothes they create with his guidance.
According to TMZ, the dad-of-four is working with streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week in order to pull of his latest philanthropy project.
The American publication claims David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week, met with Kanye, 44, earlier this month and the pair decided to combine their talents to create a Yeezy X Skid Row Fashion Week venture.
David explained how he met up with Kim Kardashian's estranged husband when he was recording Donda 2 at his studio in LA's Arts District, not far from Skid Row.
Skid Row Fashion Week donates a percentage of all sales towards helping those living without shelter on Skid Row, and David confirmed the Yeezy collaboration will see 100% of its proceeds help the homeless community in the area.
The charitable fashion line is set to be released on February 22 and David has also revealed that he and the Yeezy founder are in the very early stages of planning a fashion show where the models would be exclusively hired from the Skid Row Fashion week factory.
"There are 60,000 people currently living on Skid Row," the fashion house states in a video promo for the forthcoming range.
"Thousands of men, women and children are living in tents because our government refuses to spend the $3 billion they have in the reserve to eradicate this cancer we call homelessness.
"A purchase from Skid Row Fashion Week will help us employ, house, feed and start the process of rehabilitation with our programs and services. Buy Skid Row Fashion Week and save a life."
This isn't the first time Kanye has attempted to help tackle the growing homelessness crisis in Los Angeles.
The housing crisis in the Californian city has worsened recently and as of January 2020, there were more than 66,400 homeless people in Los Angeles County, including thousands on Skid Row.
Los Angeles' estimated homeless population is second only to New York's.
Last year, Kanye met with city leaders to discuss what can be done to help after dropping off 1,000 meals in the local area.
Kanye apparently sat down with Reverend Troy Vaughn, CEO of LA Mission, and laid out his plans to tackle the city's growing problem.
The rapper wants to keep feeding those living on the streets as well as using his own successful companies to help provide jobs, education and housing across the city.
On a more artistic note, the star also wants to use his famous Sunday Service gatherings to help inspire and comfort the homeless community.
