Kanye 'Ye' West has been suspended from Twitter after violating the social media's policy against inciting violence hours after showing praise for Hitler. The designer and rapper was booted off the site by Elon Musk after a series of erratic tweets, which included a picture of what appeared to be a symbol combining a swastika and a Jewish star.
West, who now goes by the name 'Ye' had also featured on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' on Thursday (December 1) in which he said he liked Hitler, who he claimed invented the highways and microphone and 'had something of value'. Both these claims are incorrect.

Hours later West posted a series of tweets including a photo Twitter CEO Elon Musk on a yacht with the caption: “Let’s always remember this as my final tweet,”.

Calls were made to Musk to step in and take action with one user tweeting him to “fix Kanye” to which Musk replied: “I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.”
Later, West reportedly posted a screenshot showing that he was locked out of his account for 12 hours on Truth Social – the social media platform created by former US president Donald Trump. It comes as the parent company of alternative messaging platform Parler announced that the rapper would no longer be buying the platform.
