Kanye West's new girlfriend Julia Fox has says she's "earned the right" to be famous and claims it's "unfortunate" that she's been compared to Kim Kardashian.
The Uncut Gems actress revealed that she and Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye, have been having lots of conversations about the future.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the 32-year-old said: "Definitely everyone's like, 'Oh look at her now, she's at dinner with Madonna,'
"But it's like actually, I set up that dinner, and I invited Kanye, so it's like… it looks a certain way but people don't know the conversations happening behind the scenes."
She added: "I grew up in New York City, I grew up around celebrities. Also I really feel like I earned my place to be there."
She said that Kanye encourages her to be the best version of herself.
""He wants me to be the best version of myself. That is always the conversation. Always.
"Like how am I gonna live up to my full potential, which I think is amazing."
She added that Kanye gives her career advice, adding "that's like all he does".
The pair got together after Kayne's marriage with Kim Kardashian broke down.
SKIMS founder Kim filed for divorce in February after the couple had been married for seven years.
Julia, who was Kanye's muse before the pair got together, said that she has been compared to Kim a lot recently when they've worn "similar looks".
She called the comparison "unfortunate".
"Women are always just being pitted against each other and obviously there's 10 years of history that they have prior," she said.
"I'm not going to — I don't want to ever step out of line and speak on something that I have no place speaking on."
Looking to the future, Julia said that she and Kanye had shared "a lot" of "us and we" conversations, which she added was "really nice".
But she added that the couple were keeping things spontaneous.
"Everything's very on a whim, last minute. Like, 'Pack up, we're going here now.' … So I can't even get past next week," she said
Kanye has recently hit out estranged wife Kim after he allegedly wasn't told the address or time of his daughter Chicago's birthday party.
He posted a series of frantic videos on Instagram where he tagged Kim, Khloe, Kris and Kourtney along with other people who have no involvement in the argument.
